Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Programme - a patients perspective
Hear the patient perspective on the importance of pulmonary rehabilitation, why these services should be funded and how the RCP accreditation programme can improve patient care. To register for the programme go to https://www.prsas.org/ The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Scheme (PRSAS) was launched in April 2018. The aim of the programme is to improve the quality of pulmonary rehabilitation services throughout the UK. The programme is run by the Royal College of Physicians and runs in collaboration with the National Asthma and COPD Audit Programme (NACAP). -
The Accreditation Experience
Accreditation is a professionally-led supportive process involving self-assessment and external peer assessment to assess the quality of clinical services in relation to established standards and to promote continuous quality improvement. The RCP offers a range of accreditation services, with the aim of improving the quality, safety and outcomes of healthcare, the patient experience and service delivery.
